The standard defines the contract. The verification program checks operator claims. The index makes records discoverable. These are distinct functions under shared Hottub, Inc. ownership. Here, independent verification means checking evidence independently of an operator's assertions; it does not mean separate corporate ownership.

Agents need to know who will answer
An agent can find thousands of listings. It still needs evidence of legitimacy, callable actions, and completed work. A listing alone does not answer those questions.
This program is being built to publish the checks behind a service's standing. The current site demonstrates that evidence model; it has not performed the illustrated checks.
How an endpoint earns it
- Publish. Serve a machine-readable Service Record at
/.well-known/agent-service.json. - Probe. Validate the declared action contracts and publish scheduled probe history.
- Check credentials. Check licenses, insurance, and identity as the applicable vertical requires.
- Monitor. Refresh evidence and independently validate completion and dispute signals.
Four levels. No self-grading.
A valid record is published. Business claims remain self-asserted.
Required actions pass live probes and response validation. Probe history is published.
Required credentials pass independent checks and synthetic transactions succeed.
Continuous probing and current, independently checked trailing-90-day outcomes.
Look it up before you book it
Inspect sample reports with named sources, checked-at times, and expiries. These are sample data — demonstration only, frozen at 2026-09-16.
Freshness is the product
Liveness checks expire after 24 hours. License and insurance checks expire on the authority's cadence, capped at 90 days. Expired required evidence no longer supports the advertised level. A badge must never turn old evidence into a claim of current standing.
